Must be Canadian

All submissions are to be submitted electronically

In the email subject field, please make it clear what type of submission it is. (Eg. visual work, [your name] or rough draft, [your name])

If you do not hear back from an editor in four to six weeks of sending us your submission, Branch has not selected your work for publication. We thank you for your interest. Feel free to submit again after that period.

Branch Out

Past Branch contributors are invited to submit a series of photos (8-10) taken from art shows, exhibits, or performances they've visited or seen lately (local or international). Think it fits Branch? Please send it in and share it with our viewers!

Creative Submission

Written Work

English or French

open-form (poetry, prose)

100-1500 words

send a maximum of three (3) pieces

attach as a single .doc file

include your name, contact info, 100-word bio and title(s) on the first page

Visual Work

open to all forms of visual art

must be sent as .jpg .eps .tif or .pdf. 72 dpi resolution

series and multiple pieces encouraged.

maximum of eight (8) pieces

horizontal pieces must not be smaller than 900 pixels x 550 pixels.
vertical pieces must not be smaller than 450 pixels x 550 pixels.

include name, contact info, 100-word bio
